MY BIG WHY
Yoga will not teach you how to become a superhuman, but it can give
you the tools to understand, that being human is super.
My background is the financial and corporate world. For many years, I rushed through life being a highly motivated and enthusiastic workaholic. I loved my work, but I overheard all of my body signals.
As a natural seeker, I came across my first yoga class 25 years ago, back in time when yoga was still considered a bit strange. The asanas and deep breathing gave me a feeling of relaxation and the sensation of coming home to myself.
Originally my goals were to get rid of my back pain, to be able to touch my toes and improve my sleep. I was very surprised when I discovered, that my regular yoga practice led me to touch my heart and to find the trust and freedom to live an authentic life.
During my journey, I learned to create space within myself, to release old patterns and to connect deeply to my values in life.
I lived in different countries and traveled around the world for almost two years to accomplish an art project for children,
which I created together with my daughter. All of this did not only happen because of my yoga practice, but it surely helped.
MY YOGA STYLE
This is how transformation becomes possible.
My teachings are grounded in the traditional lineage of Hatha yoga, the deep philosophy of Tantric practices, combined with breathing sets of Kundalini, healing Yin elements fused to the dance of Kriya yoga. Yoga styles are for me like a buffet and I apply the in my experience the most efficient tools that each style has to offer.
I create sessions that weave together asana, pranayama, meditation, Yoga therapy, along with shadow work, rituals and a deep connection with nature. My objective is for each of my clients, that they experience a journey that goes beyond the body and pierces deeply into their being on all levels. This leads to a deep sense of calmness, a relaxed central nervous system and a natural balance of the respiratory and hormonal system. Further, it stimulates the immune response and promotes an overall sensation of wellbeing. Yoga can also help you to dissolve challenging conditions such as anxiety, insomnia, and depression.
Discovering the space outside of the 5 senses opens the door to be the artist of your life.
MY WORK
My aim is to optimize techniques to serve in the best possible way.
I am enthusiastic to dive deep into old, traditional scriptures and combine this knowledge with the focus on awakening the true potential as an individual in this challenging world. The essence of modern science and ancient scriptures blended are offering inspiring tools to observe and change inner perspectives. This is always an agile and individual process. I am daily upgrading my knowledge by learning about the newest scientific studies and accomplishments connected to mind, body, and health.
Today I work with private clients and international companies, teaching regular yoga in offices or blending creative and mindful sessions into a teambuilding seminar. I organize sunrise yoga sessions on the beach and offer workshops and seminars in Mallorca as well as in different European countries. I also accompany people in their process of illness or crisis. I worked for many years with traumatized teenagers and played yoga with children of all ages. I love the diversity of my profession.
